WTI hovers around $66 a barrel

Crude oil prices split in Wednesday’s trading as they fell in the US but rose in Europe. As a result, Oklahoma energy stocks were mixed in trading.

West Texas Intermediate crude for June delivery, considered the US benchmark fell 6 cents to $65.63 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude for July delivery rose 8 cents to finish at $68.96 a barrel in ICE Futures Europe.

June natural gas slipped 3 cents to $2.94 per 1,000 cubic feet.

At least three Oklahoma energy firms had big gains for the day. Devon Energy Corp gained 7.59% on a $1.78 increase to $25.23.

SandRidge Energy rose 28 cents for a 6.65% gain to $4.49. Mammoth Energy Services Inc. gained 6.39% as shares increased 23 cents to $3.83.

Alliance Resource Partners, LP gained 3.50% on a 20 cent increase to $5.92.

Blueknight Energy Partners LP rose 13 cents for a 3.85% gain to $3.51.
Chesapeake Energy went up 74 cents to $46.74 for a gain of 1.61%.
Cimarex Energy jumped $3.21 for a 4.78% gain to $70.37.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP gained 2.56% on a 5 cent rise to $2.20.
Enable Midstream Partners LP went up 12 cents to $7.69 for a 1.59% gain.
Gulfport Energy Corporation lost 9.84% to settle at $0.055 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. added $1.28 for a 4.76% gain to $28.17.
LSB Industries Inc. fell 10 cents for a 1.66% loss to $5.91.
Laredo Petroleum Inc. went up $1.91 for a 4.60% gain to $43.42.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP settled up 4 cents at $48.06 for a gain of 0.083%.
Matrix Service Co. closed with a 10 cent increase to $13.52 and a gain of 0.75%.
NGL Energy Partners LP finished up one cent at $2.13 for a 0.47% gain.
OGE Energy Corp. closed up one cent at $33.42 for a gain of 0.030%.
ONE Gas Inc. dropped $2.01 for a 2.52% loss to $77.77.
ONEOK Inc. finished up 57 cents for a 1.08% gain to $53.15.
Ovintiv Inc rose 43 cents to $26.01 for a 1.68% gain.
PHX Minerals Inc. slipped 3 cents for a 0.99% loss to $3.
Unit Corporation was unchanged at $13.
Williams Companies Inc. finished up 34 cents for a 1.38% gain to $24.92.
A mixed day for other energy stocks according to the Texas Energy Report.

EOG Resources (EOG) up 1.70 at 76.71 – change 2.27%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 1.78 at 60.97 – change 3.01%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.34 at 17.51 – change 1.98%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.38 at 11.70 – change 3.36%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.84 at 16.40 – change 5.40%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 1.19 at 27.05 – change 4.60%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 1.96 at 84.99 – change 2.36%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 5.89 at 164.34 – change 3.72%
