Congresswoman eyes cleanup of abandoned oil wells polluting Latino and Indigenous communities

New Mexico Democratic congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernández wants congress to set aside $8 billion to handle tens of thousands of abandoned oil wells that she says are polluting Latino and Native American communities across the country.
 Many abandoned oil wells are located in her home state which has the largest percentage of Latinos in the U.S. reported Axios.
