Crude oil prices made another big jump in Thursday’s trading as US prices reached nearly $65 a barrel following a gain of 1.65%.
West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery increased $1.07 to settle at $64.93 a barrel in trading on the NYMEX.
Global benchmark Brent crude for May delivery gained 1.85% on a $1.27 increase to $68.54 on ICE Futures Europe.
Oklahoma energy stocks improved too but nothing like they did in Wednesday’s trading.
Oklahoma City-based PHX Minerals Inc. had a 6.64% gain on a 20 cent improvement to $3.21.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. dropped 15 cents for a 2.54% loss to $5.75.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP gained 1.20% on a 4 cent increase to $3.37.
Chesapeake Energy jumped 77 cents for a 1.67% gain to $46.95 following news it might sell its South Texas assets.
Cimarex Energy Co fell one cent to $67.17 for a loss of 0.015%.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP slipped 9 cents for a 3.88% loss to $2.23.
Devon Energy Corp. gained 0.17% on a 4 cent increase to $24.07.
Enable Midstream Partners LP increased 19 cents for a 2.59% gain to $7.54.
Gulfport Energy Corporation took a 12.73% loss to $0.048 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. gained 4.03% on a $1.09 increase to $28.12.
LSB Industries, Inc. fell 3 cents for a 0.47% loss to $6.35.
Laredo Petroleum Inc gained 2.69% on a $1.08 jump to $41.26.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP rose 45 cents for a 0.96% gain to $47.31.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc. increased 17 cents for a 4.49% gain to $3.96.
Matrix Service Co rose 6 cents to $13.35 for a 0.45% gain.
NGL Energy Partners LP increased $0.0050 for a gain of 0.23% to $2.17.
OGE Energy Corp. rose 52 cents for a 1.57% gain to $33.72.
ONE Gas Inc. went up $1.21 for a 1.53% gain to $80.09.
ONEOK Inc. finished up 49 cents for a 0.94% gain to $52.60.
Ovintiv Inc rose 60 cents for a 2.46% gain to $24.95.
SandRidge Energy Inc. fell 2 cents for a 0.46% loss to $4.31.
Unit Corporation dropped one cent for a 0.077% loss to $13.
Williams Companies Inc gained 0.61% on a 15 cent climb to $24.58.
