Oklahoma plan unveiled to ease burden of utility costs following winter storms

Nearly two months after promising to investigate huge energy bills and rolling blackouts during the February winter storm, Oklahoma leaders have finally unveiled their plan to help consumers pay off an estimated $4.5 billion bill.

The plan was laid out to the public this week after utilities went to the Corporation Commission asking for some help in delaying the impact of the massive costs they endured in obtaining natural gas to provide electrical power during the storm.
