The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board joined forces with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the City Rescue Mission in launching a food drive.
The OERB announced that the food bank and the rescue mission are in need of non-perishable food to restock their pantries. The oil and gas organization plans to accept food donations at its offices and will be making a donation on behalf of the industry.
Food Drive Drop off:
- April 5-9th
- 500 NE 4th St, drop off in lobby
- Please include your name and company with the items you are donating
Continental Resources is also accepting curbside donations from 7:30-10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7 at their headquarters, 20 N Broadway.
Suggested donations:
Canned vegetables
Pasta
Ramen noodles
Minute rice
Tuna/chicken in water (canned or pouch)
Canned chili
Instant mashed potatoes
Soup
Canned beans
Peanut butter (creamy)
Instant oatmeal
Biscuit/pancake mix
Please look for low-sugar, low-sodium products in easy-to-open packages when possible.
