New Mexico’s first billionaire is solar array developer

 

A man who moved to New Mexico and developed a solar-array manufacturing business is listed as a billionaire on Forbes’ annual list of the richest people in the world.

The Las Cruces Sun reported Ron Corio, 59 is listed as No. 2,524 and is New Mexico’s first billionaire with a net worth of $1.1 billion. He is one of 724 billionaires in the U.S. and was the founder of Array Technologies, Inc., a company formed in 1989.
