A renewed call for a continued crackdown on federal oil and gas leasing near Native American religious and historic sites came out of a gathering this week of environmentalists and Native American activists in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
They expressed particular concern about the Chaco Culture National Historical Park in northwestern New Mexico reported the Associated Press.
