An Iowa Democratic congresswoman wants the President’s $2.2 trillion infrastructure measure to include lots of money for the biofuels industry in her state.
Rep. Cindy Axne started campaigning Biden administration officials to make sure the renewable fuels industry isn’t left out of the American Jobs Act being drawn up by congressional leaders.
Radio Iowa reported the West Des Moines Representative has talked with U.S. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg about ensuring the biofuels sector gets included in the final package.
