While US crude prices rose slightly in Thursday’s trading, some Oklahoma energy stocks did the same.
West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery went up 20 cents to finish just under $60 at $59.80 a barrel for a gain of 0.34% in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent Crude for June delivery finished up 4 cents to settle at $63.20 for a gain of 0.06% in ICE Futures Europe.
May natural gas was unchanged at $2.52 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Of the Oklahoma stocks, LSB Industries Inc. had one of the biggest gains at 6.99% on a 35 cent increase to $5.36.
Mammoth Energy Services recorded the largest loss at 7.27% on a 42 cent fall to $5.36.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. finished up 4 cents at $5.92 for a gain of 0.68%.
Blueknight Energy Partners closed up 9 cents at $3.49 and a gain of 2.65%.
Chesapeake Energy finished at $45.33 with a 23 cent increase and 0.51% gain.
Cimarex Energy lost nearly 1% on a 59 cent fall to $62.55.
Continental Resources Inc. lost 3.25% as shares dropped 84 cents to $25.01.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP closed up 4 cents at $2.22 and a gain of 1.83%.
Devon Energy closed down 18 cents at $22.34 for a loss of 0.80%.
Enable Midstream Partners LP gained 1.34% on a 9 cent increase to $6.81.
Gulfport Energy Corporation finished with a 4.59% gain to $0.055 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. lost 2.29% on a 63 cent fall to $26.90.
Laredo Petroleum closed down 22 cents at $35.72 and a loss of 0.61T.
Magellan Midstream Partners LP closed up two cents at $45.25 and a gain of 0.044%.
Matrix Service Company lost 1.90% on a 26 cent drop to $13.40.
NGL Energy Partners LP settled up two cents at $2.19 and a gain of 0.92%.
OGE Energy finished down 33 cents at $32.66 for a loss of 1%.
ONE Gas closed up 46 cents at $77.85 for a gain of 0.59%.
ONEOK, Inc. lost 1.33% as shares fell 68 cents to $50.46.
Ovintiv Inc settled up 3 cents at $24.54 for a gain of 0.12%.
PHX Minerals finished the day down 1 cent at $2.85 for a loss of 0.35%.
SandRidge Energy Inc. lost 2.07% on an 8 cent slip to $3.79.
Unit Corporation added 24 cents to $13.25 for a gain of 1.84%.
Williams Companies Inc closed down 45 cents at $23.68 for a loss of 1.86%.
It was not a standout day for other energy stocks according to the Texas Energy Report.
