Colorado is on track to take its most significant step toward a Front Range passenger train system

Colorado legislators have taken another step toward the possibility of helping finance a new Front Range passenger train system.

Senate Bill 238 would create a special taxation district along the Interstate 25 corridor to fund the initiative reported the Colorado Sun.

The train is seen as a way to drive down vehicle emissions in Colorado and ease congestion on the state’s packed roadways through its fastest-growing, most populous corridors reported the Sun.
