60 mph wind gusts recorded in Oklahoma

Wind gusts of more than 60 miles an hour made for dangerous work for some energy workers on Tuesday in Oklahoma, especially for those climbing into high work positions.

A graph from the Oklahoma Mesonet indicated a 63 mile an hour gust was recorded in Cimarron County while the rest of the state had gusts into the 30s, 40s and 50s.

Oklahoma also recorded its first 90 degree weather on Tuesday. The readings were reported in the southwest and the Panhandle.
