A report by Bloomberg reveals private operators in the oil and gas industry are making larger strides than the ‘Big Boys’ in terms of putting rigs in the oil patch.
Smaller private operators, including Quantum Energy, a firm with major Oklahoma operations is one of the leading exploration firms at this point, trailing only EOG Resources. Quantum’s portfolio companies combined for 18 rigs.
