Oklahoma senators endorsed new SBA administrator

Small businesses in Oklahoma who deal with the Small Business Administration now get a new SBA administrator.

The US. Senate voted 81-17 this week to confirm Isabel Guzman who had been nominated by President Biden

She had the support of Oklahoma Sens. Jim Inhofe and James Lankford.

As SBA administrator, Guzman will oversee the remaining disbursements from the Paycheck Protection Program, a forgivable loan program that was a lifeline to small businesses hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
