Texas-based Harvest Midstream Company agreed to pay a nearly $100,000 civil penalty for violating environmental laws in New Mexico.
The Albuquerque Journal reported the company failed to report a release of natural gas into water in northern New Mexico and was fined by the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department.
