Crude oil prices split their ways in Thursday’s trading as US crude went up closer to the $64 mark while European crude fell but remained a strong $66 a barrel price.
West Texas Intermediate crude oil for April delivery went up 31 cents to $63.53 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
The global benchmark, Brent crude for April delivery dropped 16 cents to settle at $66.88 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.
April natural gas dropped again, falling 7 cents to $2.78 per 1,000 cubic feet.
It turned into a down day for most Oklahoma energy stocks with only two exceptions.
PHX Minerals Inc. had a 25 cent increase or 7.33% gain to $3.66.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. dropped 26 cents for a 4.07% loss to $6.13.
