Still more Ovintiv wells completed in Oklahoma’s STACK

Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. showed it isn’t finished filing completion reports on big producing wells drilled last year.

The latest were in Canadian County which is part of the STACK play and southeast of Okarche where the company had been active in the past year. All five were Brueggen wells, three drilled at a single pad and two others on a single pad at a site about 4 miles southeast of the town in far northern Canadian County.

Two were drilled at 11 14N 7W and had combined production of 1,911 barrels of oil a day. One produced 915 barrels of oil a day and 722 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,237 feet in the Mississippian. It had a spud date of January 2020 with completion in May.

The second Brueggen 1407 produced 972 barrels of oil a day and 830 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,436 feet. It also had a January 2020 spud date followed by completion in May 2020.

Three Brueggen 14707 wells were drilled from a single pad and had combined production of nearly 2,700 barrels of oil a day.

One produced 927 barrels of oil a day and 830 Mcf of natural gas from the site at 14 14N 7W and a depth of 19,436 feet in the Mississippian. Completion came in May 2020 after a January spud date.

A second well at the site produced 894 barrels of oil a day and 707 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,507 feet. It had a January 2020 spud date with completion in May.

The third well produced 860 barrels of oil a day and 250 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,740 feet. Like the two others on the site at 14 14N 7W, it had a completion date in May 2020.
