The state of Arkansas has launched a rebate program to urge expansion of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, Division of Environmental Quality’s Energy Office recently started the Level 2 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment program.
The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment, Division of Environmental Quality’s (DEQ) Energy Office has started a new program to bolster the state’s electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
The “Level 2 Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment program” will provide rebates for the installation of Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations and is open to both public and private applicants across the state. Level 2 stations can charge electric vehicles in eight hours or less using a 240-volt output.
The Magnolia Reporter said the program is seeking partners to help build more EV charging stations.
