While dealing with supply issues, rolling blackouts and sub-zero wintry weather, ONE Gas in Oklahoma decided Wednesday was not the day to release its fourth quarter earnings report. Not good timing to be talking about profits when you consider the millions of customers served in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas who are dealing with rolling blackouts caused by weather that has put a stranglehold on electrical power.

So the company announced it will reschedule the earnings report release date and conference call due, as the firm stated, “to the unprecedented weather conditions in the territories where we operate and the related current disruptions in the natural gas markets.”

The ONE Gas statement indicated its previously declared dividend on the company’s common stock will be paid on March 5, 2021.

A new notice will be sent and a news release issued to announce the rescheduled earnings call date.

ONE Gas, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, provides natural gas distribution services to more than 2 million customers in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Its divisions include Kansas Gas Service, the largest natural gas distributor in Kansas; Oklahoma Natural Gas, the largest in Oklahoma; and Texas Gas Service, the third largest in Texas, in terms of customers.
