Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has become the latest governor to challenge President Biden’s anti-fossil fuel executive orders showing that two can play the game of dueling executive orders.

On Monday, Stitt signed his own executive order in which he declared under the 10th Amendment that Oklahoma has the right to develop its natural resources in the way it sees fit, reported the McCarville Report.

In his executive order, Stitt directs state agencies to use “all civil methods and lawful powers to protect its 10th Amendment powers and challenge any actions by the federal government that would seek to diminish or destroy Oklahoma’s ability to encourage job growth and the responsible development of our natural resources within the energy industry.”
