Can Mammoth Energy Services continue its earnings growth?

The fourth quarter and full-year 2020 earnings reports by Oklahoma City’s Mammoth Energy Services, Inc. will be released this week.

The company said the results will be made available to the public following the close of markets on Thursday, February 25, 2021. A conference call will follow at 4 p.m. Central Time on the same day.

Investors will learn whether the company can continue its earnings growth as reported at the end of the third quarter 2020 in September when Mammoth’s total revenue was up 17% from the previous third quarter, reaching $70.5 million. Still, the earnings were down 38% from the $113.4 million for the third quarter 2019.

The company’s net income at the end of the third quarter last year was $3.4 million compared to a net loss of $15.2 million in the second quarter that ended June 30, 2020.
