Utilities in Southeast Kansas and Southwest Missouri have announced they plan to add solar power to their sources of electrical generation.
Liberty Utilities in Missouri announced its solar operation near Prosperity inn Jasper County will be online in late January reported the Joplin Globe.
The newspaper stated Heartland Rural Electric Cooperative plans two solar operations in Crawford and Neosho counties of Southeast Kansas.
