Renewable Natural Gas to be produced from Tyson operations in NW Arkansas

Tyson Foods facilities in northwest Arkansas will soon be the source of wastewater under a deal the giant firm has reached with NW Natural and BioCarbN to produce renewable natural gas.

The two are the developer and operator of sustainable infrastructure projects to convert methane from the Tyson facilities into RNG.

According to a report by Bioenergy Insight, NW Natural could invest up to $38 million in four separate RNG development projects to access biogas from water treatment at the processing plants owned by Tyson Foods.
