Phillips 66 seeks more investors

Publicly-traded companies need investors in order to grow and survive and Phillips 66 is no different.

It’s planning another fund-raising effort on Thursday as company chairman and CEO Greg Garland will speak to investors and securities analysts at the Goldman Sachs Global Energy Conference.

He’ll speak at 11:45 a.m. Central Time and will discuss what the company calls “value creation” in an evolving energy landscape. Garland will also provide an update on the Phillips 66 strategic initiatives and its commitment to “disciplined capital allocation.”
