Ovintiv files more reports on big oil producers in Oklahoma plays

 

Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. apparently had stockpiled its completed wells in Oklahoma as it filed a continuing list of big producers including two Garvin County wells from a single pad with production of more than 3,700 barrels of oil a day.

The Denver, Colorado-based company also filed reports on two Canadian County wells on a single pad with production of 1,754 barrels of oil a day, plus a third separate well with nearly a thousand barrels of oil a day production.

It filed reports on two single pad wells in Kingfisher county with production of 1,629 barrels of oil a day.

The Garvin County wells were the Sandra Fiu 0304 located at
21 3N 4W located just west of the community of Purdy and south of the city of Lindsay. The largest produced 2,080 barrels of oil a day and 2,143 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 23,315 feet in the Springer formation.

The completion report showed a February 2020 spud date with completion made in November of last year.

The second Sandra Fiu well produced 1,631 barrels of oil a day along with 1,978 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 23,632 feet according to its completion report.

Ovintiv’s two Canadian County wells had combined production of 1,754 barrels of oil a day. The Breuggen 1407 wells were drilled at 14 14N 7W southeast of Okarche. One produced 894 barrels of oil a day and 707 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,507 in the Mississippian formation. It had a January 2020 spud date with completion made in May.

The second Brueggen well produced 860 barrels of oil a day and 250 Mcf of natural gas with a depth of 19,740 feet. It also had a May 2020 completion date.

But Ovintiv reported a third Brueggen well drilled at 11 14N 7W that  produced 996 barrels of oil a day and 798 Mcf of natural gas from a drilling depth of 19,434 feet in the Mississippi/Woodford formations. The well site is adjacent to the two previous wells.

Do the math. That’s three Brueggen wells with combined production of 2,750 barrels of oil a day.

Ovintiv also had two Kingfisher County wells producing 1,629 barrels of oil a day from a single pad at 7 17N 8W, a site two miles southeast of Loyal. One Gruntmeir 1708 produced 913 barrels of oil a day and 1,407 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 20,170 feet in the Mississippian. It had a March 2020 spud date with completion in November.

 

The second well at the site had production of 716 barrels of oil a day and 1,361 Mcf of natural gas with a drilling depth of 20,121 feet according to its completion report.

Calyx Energy III LLC reported another gas well in Hughes County with completion made in September of 2020.

The Franklin 3-12-24wh well was drilled at 12 8N 12E , a site east of Wetumka and with production of 9,757 Mcf of natural gas a day from a depth of 16,322 in the Woodford Mayes formation.
