Oklahoma energy stocks saw improved trading on Tuesday

Crude oil prices on Tuesday finished down in the U.S. and up in Europe.

West Texas Intermediate crude fell 13 cents or 0.24% to finish the day at $53.34 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude for March delivery finished up 92 cents at $56.58 a barrel for a gain of 1.65% in the ICE Futures Europe..

Tuesday’s trading of Oklahoma energy stocks resulted in two extremes…one a gainer…the other a loser.

SandRidge Energy Inc. saw prices increase 36 cents a share for a gain of more than 9% for the day as stock settled at $4.20.

On the opposite side was Chesapeake Energy where shares fell 77 cents for a loss of nearly 16% as prices finished the day at $4.08.

Other Oklahoma energy firms had respectable showings. Among them, Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. whose stock had a more than 7.5% gain as prices increased 38 cents and finished at $5.42.

Blueknight Energy Partners LP Common Stock finished up one cent for a half-point gain at $2.02.
Continental Resources, Inc. finished up $1.29 for a nearly 7% gain at $20.66.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP had a nearly 5% gain when shares rose 12 cents and settled at $2.57.
Devon Energy Corp shares increased $1.38 for a gain of 7.53% and finished at $19.71.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished Tuesday with an 8% gain after shares increased 44 cents to reach $5.99.
Gulfport Energy Corporation tacked on about 2 cents a share for a 21.37% gain and reached 14 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. finished at $26.39, up $1.18 for a gain of 4.68%.LSB Industries, Inc. increased 6 cents for a gain of 1.52% to finish Tuesday at $4.02.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. rose $1.14 per share to close at $46.36, a gain of 2.52%.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc finished up two cents at $4.49, a gain of 0.45%.
Matrix Service Co had a 5.43% gain when shares rose 63 cents and settled at $12.23.
OGE Energy Corp. lost 46 cents and settled at $31.16, a decline of 1.45%.
ONE Gas Inc fell 31 cents for a 0.43% loss to $71.56.
ONEOK, Inc. gained 5.53% when stocks rose $2.28 and hit $43.51 for the day.Ovintiv Inc saw an 83 cent increase in shares for a 4.82% gain to $17.94.
PHX Minerals Inc gained 8% after shares increased by 19 cents and finished at $2.60.
Williams Companies Inc closed the day at $22.43 with a 93 cent increase and a gain of 4.30%.
 Many other energy firms reported gains for the day as the Texas Energy Report indicated.

ConocoPhillips (COP) up 2.06 at 47.42 – change 4.54%

Diamondback Energy (FANG) up 4.57 at 62.87 – change 7.83%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.31 at 7.14 – change 4.53%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) up 0.64 at 22.41 – change 2.93%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 2.83 at 62.44 – change 4.74%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 1.04 at 47.88 – change 2.22%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.47 at 15.21 – change 3.18%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.75 at 8.39 – change 9.81%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.64 at 16.00 – change 4.16%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 2.54 at 22.62 – change 12.64%

Parsley Energy (PE) up 0.52 at 16.93 – change 3.16%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 1.47 at 73.73 – change 2.03%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 3.70 at 135.12 – change 2.81%

Valero (VLO) up 0.87 at 59.51 – change 1.48%
