NGL Partners contributes to New Mexico study of reusing produced water

 

Research funded in part by a $1 million contribution from Oklahoma’s NGL Energy Partners is underway in New Mexico into the treatment and reuse of produced water from oil and gas drilling in the state.

The project is called the New Mexico Produced Water Research Consortium which is made up of New Mexico State University and the New Mexico Environment Department.

The consortium recently issued a request for project proposals reported the Albuquerque Journal.
