New board member joins OERB

The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board announced the appointment of Ty Peck to its board of directors.

Peck is the Crude Supply Manager at CVR Refining. He has more than a decade of experience in energy marketing and acquisitions.

“As a native Oklahoman, I look forward to continuing the great work the OERB has done across our state in cleaning historic well sites and supporting our educators,” said Peck.

Peck has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University. He is actively involved in several oil and natural gas associations.

Created by the Oklahoma legislature in 1993, the OERB is voluntarily funded by oil and natural gas producers and royalty owners through a one-tenth of 1 percent assessment on the sale of oil and natural gas. The OERB’s purpose is to conduct environmental restoration of historic well sites and to educate Oklahomans about oil and natural gas. For more information visit OERB.com.
