Environmental activists in Nebraska who fought the Keystone XL pipeline are still celebrating after President Biden revoked approval of the controversial pipeline that would have terminated in the state.
“I can’t stop laughing,” anti-pipeline pioneer Jane Kleeb said. “I always knew this day would come.”
The Lincoln Journal Star interviewed Kleeb, who launched the group Bold Alliance to fight the pipeline and now is Nebraska’s Democratic chairwoman.
