Longtime Arkansas petroleum company Murphy Oil Corp., a firm that moved to Houston in 2020 reported a fourth quarter net loss of $172 million.
The company said the loss was smaller than expected and said the adjusted net loss was $14 million or 9 cents a diluted share. The $172 million net loss amounted to $1.11 per share for the quarter.
Murphy’s full-year 2020 loss totaled $1.1 billion or $7.48 per diluted share.
