January ODOT Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, Jan. 11

 

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission meets Monday to not only get a review of its 2020 projects but learn about the impact of recently approved federal budget bill.

Transportation Secretary Tim Gatz, who is also Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will give the briefing.

The Commission’s agenda also showed Gatz will provide details on the Route 66 Centennial Commission Act recently approved by Congress. He will also update the commission on the state budget outlook for the year.

Some engineering contracts will be reviewed by commissioners include the State Highway 9 widening project east of 156th Ave. in Norman, the U-S 69 bridge reconstruction in Durant and the interchange construction on the Duncan Bypass in Stephens County.

The 11 a.m. meeting will be at the R.A. Ward Transportation building in OKC and will be streamed live on the web.
