Iowa governor wants new pumps to offer higher blend of biofuels

The governor of Iowa is making a push to require new fuel pumps across her state to include higher blends for ethanol and biodiesel.

Speaking at a virtual Renewable Fuels Summitt, Gov. Kim Reynolds said she was excited to advance policies that will grow the biofuels and ag industry.

“That means making biofuels the clear choice for Iowa drivers,” she said, adding that any new fuel pumps in the state should dispense gasoline with 10% blend of ethanol and B11—11% biodiesel reported
