Congressman predicted Biden administration’s attack on pipelines

Oklahoma congressman Markwayne Mullin was pretty accurate in his November election prediction about the Democrats and what they intended to do if they won the White House.

“If they take over the administration and God help us if they do, the first thing we need to be aware of is the permitting of the pipelines.”

Spot on from the Republican Representative who told OK Energy Today Biden made it abundantly clear as did Vice President Harris, the first Senator to sign onto the Green New Deal, that they opposed fracking.

“One thing the federal government does have a lot of control over is the interstate pipelines,” he said at the time. “And that’s where the industry needs to be very aware of, of what’s gonna happen.”

And it did happen as the President already cancelled the permit for construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. He also put a 60-day freeze on permits and leases of drilling on federal lands.

“I feel like they’re going to attack the pipelines first because that’s the one they have the most control over,” predicted Rep. Mullin. “They’re gonna make it very, very difficult for us to move product.”

He concluded the interview with OK Energy Today by stating, “They’re going to attack the pipelines.”
