Ho hum Tuesday for crude futures while Oklahoma stocks suffered losses

Week two of the Biden administration and Oklahoma energy stocks continued in their depressed ways with most reporting losses in Tuesday’s trading.

Earlier in Tuesday’s trading, crude futures saw some gains as investors liked word that Russia and Iraq will have lower oil exports in February.

West Texas Intermediate crude finished up 19 cents for a gain of 0.36% for March delivery and finished at $52.80 in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
As for global benchmark Brent crude for March delivery, it ended the session up 3 cents for a 0.05% gain to $55.91 in trading on ICE Futures Europe.
February natural gas rose 5 cents to $2.66 per 1,000 cubic feet.
One exception to the slipping Oklahoma energy stocks was PHX Minerals Inc whose stock saw a gain of 7.53% after shares increased 21 cents for the day and closed at $3.00.
But Chesapeake Energy Corporation which last week saw some rather large gains suffered a loss Tuesday of more than 21% when shares dropped $1.13 to finish at $4.17.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. saw a 2 cent increase for a 0.39% gain to $5.13.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP increased one cent to $2.04.
Cimarex Energy Co lost $1.31 for a 4% slide to $43.49.
Continental Resources, Inc. lost 7 cents or 0.37% to finish the day at $18.88.
 Devon Energy Corp fell51 cents to $16.85 for a loss of 3%.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished at $5.60 with a 4 cent increase and a gain of 0.81%.
Gulfport Energy Corporation lost 1% to close at 9 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. fell 92 cents for a nearly 4% loss to $24.56.
 LSB Industries, Inc. lost 6 cents and closed at $3.87 with a drop of 1.53%.
 Laredo Petroleum Inc lost $1.08 to close at $24.64 for a decline of more than 4%.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. finished up 13 cents for a 0.29% gain to $45.46.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc lost 40 cents for a nearly 9% drop  to $4.26.
Matrix Service Co had a 1.49% loss as stocks slid 20 cents to $13.25.
NGL Energy Partners LP closed down 8 cents for a nearly 3% loss to $2.73.
OGE Energy Corp. lost 19 cents for a nearly 1% slide to $31.57.
ONE Gas Inc dropped 17 cents to $72.31 for a loss of 0.23%.
ONEOK, Inc. fell 13 cents or 0.31% to close at $42.12.
Ovintiv Inc lost 75 cents or 4.35% and finished the day at $16.48.
Williams Companies Inc suffered a loss of 22 cents on the day or 1% to close at $21.44.
 The Texas Energy Report showed a lot of other energy firms had losses in Tuesday’s trading.

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.05 at 6.62 – change 0.76%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) up 0.14 at 21.26 – change 0.66%

EOG Resources (EOG) down 1.71 at 53.49 – change 3.10%

ExxonMobil (XOM) down 1.03 at 45.87 – change 2.20%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.04 at 15.22 – change 0.27%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) down 0.35 at 7.47 – change 4.48%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) down 0.08 at 12.62 – change 0.63%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) down 1.13 at 20.38 – change 5.26%

Phillips 66 (PSX) down 0.77 at 71.31 – change 1.07%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) down 5.69 at 123.64 – change 4.40%

Valero (VLO) down 1.26 at 58.15 – change 2.13%
