Crude oil futures managed to rebound from Friday’s losses in trading in the US and overseas in Europe.
After West Texas Intermediate crude fell $1.21 or more than 2% in Friday’s trading, the US benchmark rose 62 cents to $52.98 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude also rebounded, going up $1.15 to settle at $55.90 a barrel in trading on ICE Futures Europe. On Friday, Brent dropped $1.51 or 2.68%.
Natural gas prices for February fell 19 cents to $2.55 per 1,000 cubic fee in trading on the NYMEX.
Of the Oklahoma energy stocks, PHX Minerals had the biggest gain at more than 14% when shares rose 40 cents to close at $3.23.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP Common Stock closed at $2.07 following a 5 cent increase or 2.48% gain.
