After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the spring of 2016 and emerging later that year with a reduction of debt by $3.7 billion, Oklahoma City’s SandRidge Energy wrapped up its last paperwork this week on the action.
Records in the Southern Texas District of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court show the filing of the final Chapter 11 quarterly disbursement and fee report was made on Tuesday.
SandRidge emerged from bankruptcy in October of 2016 but the final decree closing its Chapter 11 case wasn’t issued until Nov. 18, 2020. The last of the court filings occurred this week.
