Coronavirus relief package includes keeping Colorado’s radioactive dirt grave

 

Many Americans probably never heard of it—the radioactive dirt grave south of Grand Junction, Colorado.

It is considered the last federal government repository for Cold War leftovers in the country.  When President Trump signed the coronavirus relief package, there was a brief inclusion of money for a site where tons and tons of radioactive dirt has been dug up from sidewalks and streets and buried in a massive grave.
