You might know him as the gay Democratic Presidential candidate  who wants to take guns from Americans, but get ready to know much more about Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.

President-elect Biden has picked him to be his Secretary of Transportation in a Biden administration.

The 38-year old Buttigieg will be the man in charge of a $90 billion budget and a staff of nearly 55,000. He will also be the person directing the nation’s transportation efforts, whether it’s big trucks going down the interstate to barges flowing up and down places like the McClellan-Kerr Navigational System in eastern Oklahoma.
