A new wind farm owner in Iowa plans to spend nearly $45 million to repower 17 wind turbines as part of a major upgrade to the operation near Greeley.
The Telegraph Herald reported the move was proposed by Greenbacker Renewable Energy Co. which is the new owner of the Elk Wind Farm.
