Enbridge gets nod for new crude pipeline in Midwest

 

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers this week approved federal permits for Canada’s Enbridge Inc. to go ahead with its Line 3 crude pipeline replacement project.

The line moves crude from Alberta’s oil hub to Midwest refiners in the U.S. and the approval of the permits will allow replacement construction that’s been delayed for years, reported Reuters.
