Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners are being asked to make a proposed fifth order extending COVID-19 protections in their agency.
The issue is on the Thursday agenda when the commissioners meet at 1:30 p.m.
Tim Rhodes, Director of Administration at the Commission made the request to extend the restrictions for another 60 days. The restrictions include the continued closure of the agency’s Jim Thorpe headquarters building at the state capitol complex.
Some Commission employees still work in the building but following Gov. Kevin Stitt’s order issued this week, all state workers will be required to wear facial masks while at work in their office buildings.
Commissioners will also handle a daily signing agenda and a 24-hour signing agenda filled with numerous requests.
Among them is the joint application of NexTera entities to acquire GridLiance; and an application by Public Service Company of Oklahoma for approval of an amended settlement agreement for selected wind facilities.
