While oil futures hit a nearly 5-month low in Thursday’s trading, some of the energy stocks based in Oklahoma and those with activities in the state saw improvements.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. gained 6 cents for a 1.87% increase to $3.27 per share. Blueknight Energy Partners finished up 2 cents for a 1.48% gain to $1.37. Chesapeake Energy dropped 7 cents for a fall of 1.76% to $3.90.
Continental Resources, Inc. gained 20 cents for a 1.65% increase to $12.31. Cypress Environmental Partners LP dropped about 2% or 4 cents and slid to $2.01. Devon Energy Corp saw a 35 cent gain or 4.39% to reach $8.45.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished at $4.60, up 11 cents for a gain of 2.45%. Helmerich & Payne, Inc. gained 6 cents and settled at $14.30 for the day. LSB Industries finished up 10 cents for a 4.41% gain to reach $2.36.
Laredo Petroleum Inc. added a dime for a 1.25% gain to $8.11. Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. gained 75 cents or 2.16% to finish at $35.52. Mammoth Energy Services finished the day up 2 cents at $1.60 per share which was a 1.27% gain.
NGL Energy Partners LP fell nearly 7% after dropping 19 cents to $2.65 per share. OGE Energy Corp. fell 12 cents to $30.96. ONE Gas Inc. dropped 1% after falling 54 cents to $68.82.
ONEOK, Inc. saw a gain of $1.31 or 4.50% and settled at $30.40. Ovintiv Inc jumped 6.17% after gaining 53 cents to finish at $9.12. PHX Minerals Inc., the former Panhandle Oil and Gas gained 3 cents for a 2.08% increase to $1.47.
SandRidge Energy Inc. finished up about 1% following a 1 cent gain to $1.70. WPX Energy picked up 18 cents for a gain of 4.38% to hit $4.29 at the end of Thursday’s trading. Williams Companies Inc. rose 24 cents or 1.27% and settled at $19.10 per share.
