The nation’s energy sector took a beating on Monday as crude oil and natural gas prices took a sharp drop and the broader stock market suffered a selloff.
It included the numerous Oklahoma related energy company stocks.
Alliance Resource Partners dropped more than 7% or 23 cents to $2.95. Blueknight Energy Partners was down nearly 4% or 6 cents to $1.45. Chesapeake Energy slid 6.40% for a 32 cent decline to $4.68.
Continental Resources suffered a $1.04 drop for a 7% decline to $13.82. Cypress Environmental Partners finished the day down one cent to $2.14. Devon Energy had a 5.36% drop of 52 cents to $9.27.
Enable Midstream Partners slipped 13 cents for a nearly 3% slide down to $4.28. Helmerich and Payne finished down 89 cents for a nearly 5.50% drop to $15.32. Laredo Petroleum ended down 7.57% or 88 cents to $10.75.
Magellan Midstream lost 11 cents to $36.81. Mammoth Energy Services ended down 2 cents for a nearly 1% drop to $2.07. Matrix Service Company suffered a 68 cent loss for a 7.38% drop to $8.53.
NGL Energy Partners slipped 10 cents or 2.76% to $3.52. OGE Energy slid 18 cents downward to $28.69. ONE Gas was off 64 cents for a 1% drop to $66.80. ONEOK lost $1.10 or 4% to $26.44.
Ovintiv Inc. lost 98 cents for a nearly 10% plunge to $9.23. Panhandle Oil and Gas was off 3.35% or 6 cents settling at $1.73. SandRidge Energy fell nearly 8% or 15 cents to $1.73.
WPX Energy shot down 27 cents or 5.65% to $4.51. Williams Companies ended the day down 7 cents to $20.67.
