The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality announced the development of a new guidance document for Air Quality oil and gas facility permit applications.

It said the guidance includes a flowchart to help with implementation and will streamline the review and acceptance of representative samples used for calculating emissions.

The Department’s Air Quality Division said the new guidance is ready for use and should be followed for all permit applications submitted on or after March 15, 2021.
