Evergy’s solar demand charge was ruled illegal, but it’s still being collected

Evergy’s continued collection of a demand charge on solar customers, a charge ruled illegal by the Kansas Supreme Court, has drawn more criticism. The company maintains it will continue collection of the charge until February.
