Energy stocks suffered in Thursday’s trading

 

Local energy stocks in Oklahoma took a beating in Thursday’s trading with some firms seeing their shares drop 7-8%. One suffered a nearly 10% decline in the value of its shares.

Alliance Resource Partners dropped 1% or 3 cents to $3.08. Blueknight Energy Partners ended the day down 2 cents or 1.38% to $1.43. Chesapeake Energy Corporation saw a nearly 5% gain of 25 cents to $5.30.

Continental Resources fell 7.5% or $1.08 a share to $13.28. Cypress Environmental Partners ended the day up 2 cents for not quite a 1% gain to $2.17. Devon Energy plunged 7.31% or 70 cents to $8.87.

Enable Midstream Partners dropped 3 cents or 0.64% to $4.69. Helmerich and Payne dropped 2.5% or 38 cents to $14.55. Laredo Petroleum dropped 9.52% or $1.20 to $11.41. Magellan Midstream Partners finished the week down 7 cents at $36.92.

 

 

 

 

 

Mammoth Energy Services finished up 1.23% or 2 cents to $1.65. NGL Energy Partners fell 4.34% or 16 cents to $3.53. OGE Energy declined 2.28% or 71 cents to $30.37. ONEOK dropped 1.70% or 45 cents to $26.03.
Ovintiv Inc. suffered a loss of 7.86% or 74 cents to $8.68. Panhandle Oil and Gas went through a drop of 2.81% or 5 cents to $1.73. The loss for SandRidge Energy was 2.99% or 5 cents to $1.62.
WPX Energy had a loss of 40 cents or 8.44% to $4.34. Williams Companies Inc. dropped by 44 cents or 2.13% to $20.18.
