While the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in thousands of energy jobs lost over the past six months, others are feeling the economic impact. Employees of Stein Mart clothing stores might soon lose their jobs because the company has filed for Chapter 11 bankrtupcy.
The Oklahoma Office of Workforce Development said the company is planning to close most or all of its brick and mortar stores. Stein Mart has two stores in the Tulsa metro and two in the Oklahoma City metro. Each of the stores has 10 to 40 employees.
