Paloma adds 3rd well to Canadian County drilling site

 

Houston’s Paloma Operating Co. Inc. added a third well to the list of completions at a single pad located 7 miles southwest of the city of El Reno in Canadian County bringing combined production to nearly 2,000 barrels of oil a day.

The Friday filing came two days after it listed two previous Summer Moon wells located at 17 12n 8w. The Summer Moon 8-5-12n-8w 5whx produced 657 barrels of oil a day and 3,994 Mcf of natural gas from a drilling depth of 21,878 in the Woodford formation.

The well had a November 2018 spud date and drilling finished in March 2019 while completion was made in May 2019. Combined with the two previous Summer Moon wells, the total production was  1,970 barrels of crude oil a day.

Paloma Operating Co. Inc. also filed a second completion report on wells drilled just east of El Reno showing combined crude oil production of nearly 1,300 barrels a day.

The company had filed a first completion report earlier in the week on the Pamunkey 14-12n-7w-1mh with production of 673 barrels of oil a day and 2,481 Mcf of natural gas. But the second report, filed two days later showed the second well with production of 619 barrels of oil a day and 2,595 Mcf of natural gas a day.

Both are located at 14 12N 7W which is only about 2 miles east of El Reno and north of Route 66 highway. The first Pamunkey had a Sept. 22, 2019 spud date with drilling finished Nov. 20, 2019 and completion made March 18, 2020. The second Pamunkey had a Sept. 23, 2019 spud date and completion was made March 21, 2020. Combined crude oil production was 1,292 barrels of oil a day.
