Oklahoma regulators to get COVID-19 update

Oklahoma regulators will get another COVID-19 update at their regular meeting to be held today at the state capitol.

It will be an “in person” meeting for the Corporation Commissioners but due to the pandemic, the Commission’s Jim Thorpe building headquarters are closed to the public. However, the Commission’s various departments are still conducting business with energy customers and others.

Instead of possibly voting on extending the closure of the headquarters building as OK Energy Today reported Tuesday, Commissioners will simply get an update on the COVID-19 impact.

“Briefing on and discussion of current status and efforts related to COVID-19 and update regarding use of Interim Order No. 710005, as extended by Order Nos. 710681 and 711669,
in Cause No. GD 202000001—Director of Administration Tim Rhodes,” stated the agenda.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m.
