Latest completion reports filed with Oklahoma regulators

While Oklahoma’s newest oil wells were drilled in the past few months, completion reports on other wells actually drilled and completed in 2019 are still being filed.

One is in Canadian County where Triumph Energy Partners LLC reported completion of a well with production of 596 barrels of oil a day.

The Snyder 6-19-18 1409mhx, with a spud date of June 2019 had completion September 28, 2019 is located at 19 14N 9W, a site about 6 miles northwest of the city of Calumet. Drilling depth, according to the completion report filed this past week was 21,380 in the Mississippian solid.

The Canadian County well is the latest STACK effort by Triumph, a firm headquartered in Tulsa. In January, the company filed reports on four sister wells near Okarche with combined production of more than 3,000 barrels of oil a day. The wells were drilled in 2018 with completions in 2019 but the filing of the reports wasn’t made until this year.

Another completion report filed by Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. was an amended filing for the Larry 0804 4h-22x well drilled at 22 8N 4W  in McClain County or about two miles northeast of Blanchard. The well had a November 2019 spud date and drilling finished in December with completion on Feb. 28, 2020. It had production of 935 barrels of oil a day and 991 Mcf of natural gas.

The filing was an amended one with a correction showing Mississippian part of completion and correction of the deepest perforation.
