Permits show drilling sites intended around Oklahoma

 

Oklahoma’s latest drilling permits show exploration will range from the western reaches of the Panhandle to the southern part of the state.

Grand Mesa Operating Company obtained a permit to drill on land owned by the State Land Commission in Cimarron County at 04 5N 4E. The Iron Jacket #1-4 is at a site northwest of Boise City and its permit indicated it was an amended report adding the soil farming permit number.

Duncan Oil Properties Incorporated obtained a permit to recomplete the Ginger #1-11 well located at 11 14N 18W in Custer County. The well is located northwest of Custer City.

A permit to drill was obtained by Continental Resources Inc. for a site in Love County. The Aurora #1-15-10XHW is located northwest of Marietta at 15 6S 2W. The amended permit included a change of the well name.

A northern Oklakhoma permit to drill was awarded Trans Pacific Oil Corporation which intends to drill the Catherine A. SWDW #2-35 at 35 29N 13W which is a site northeast of Alva and only four miles from the state line with Kansas.
